Eva Hall Music Studio
Piano and Violin Classes in Savoy, Illinois
A child-centered approach to music education.
Lessons are tailored to each child's unique learning style and feature a combination of hands-on playing and kinesthetic learning tools to keep children engaged and make learning music a joyful experience.

Individual Lessons

Violin
Violin lessons blend Suzuki and Paul Rolland techniques, prioritizing ear training, active parent involvement, and the development of solid physical fundamentals for every student.

Piano
Hands-on lessons at the piano utilize Faber Piano Adventures, classical, and holiday music, paired with kinesthetic learning activities to build a solid foundation in both technique and theory fundamentals.
My Philosophy

As a teacher in childhood music education, my mission is to cultivate a life-long love of music in every student, regardless of their starting skill level. I believe musical growth depends less on being ‘naturally gifted’ and more on the supportive environment we create together.
Â
In lessons, I focus on engaging, creative instruction, while partnering with families to build consistent, positive home practice routines.

By working closely with parents, I tailor lessons and practice expectations to each child’s unique strengths and needs.
Â
Through learning an instrument, students develop important life skills such as problem-solving, perseverance, discipline, and healthy self-expression.

My goal is not only to teach students how to play their instrument, but also to give them a strong foundation in music theory, rhythm, and pitch so they can become confident, independent musicians ready for more advanced study in the future.
